All items are drop-shipped directly to you from our supplier. If an item is on back-order, we will let you know within 48 hours and you may choose to cancel the order or wait for the ETA.

Masaya & Co. solid hardwood furniture comes in the following renewable tropical hardwood species.
Teak (Tectona grandis)- Teak is one of the most prized hardwoods worldwide. Teak is highly valued for its durability, water resistance, and has been used for centuries in boat building, exterior construction, and furniture. When kept indoors, Teak presents as a honey blonde color that gains richness with time. On outdoor furniture, it will patina to a silver gray. Teak is an excellent plantation tree, as it restores ruined land to forest, and provides four times the jobs as cattle farming.
Cedro Macho (Carapa guianensis). Also known as "Andiroba" or "Royal Mahogany". Cedro Macho is in the Mahogany family and has a light reddish brown color. Grain can carry pretty variations in tone that shift from darker areas to light.
Nanciton (Hyeronima alchoernoides). Also known as “Rosita Walnut.” Nanciton has beautiful rich, dark, velvety tones and intriguing grain patterns.
MANILA CHORD FOR OUR HANDWOVEN FURNITURE:
The chord, or “manila”, found on our handwoven products is spun at our mill from thread we source from Anefil, an industry leader in sustainability and eco-friendly practices. For this process we use a heavyweight poly-thread often used in the production of mattresses and athletic wear. Much like cotton, it is soft to the touch, and has added strength, durability, and colorfastness making it suitable for commercial use while adding longevity to our product.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
All outdoor furniture as well as our chair frames are furnished with natural wood oil. Natural wood oil can be used over time to replenish the surface luster as well as to repair any minor nicks or scratches.
Table tops are finished with a clear poly finish that allows the natural beauty of the wood to be seen. Non-wax furniture polishes - like Pledge - are generally safe to use on our table tops.
For added protection against spills to our leather or manila woven surfaces, a polymer like Ultra-guard can be used. However, before applying any cleaning, conditioning, or protecting agent, we recommend the directions of the specific product be read & followed, and that the product be tested on a small, unnoticeable section of the furniture.
Masaya & Co. are returnable within 7 days. You will be refunded in full minus all shipping costs.
Please contact us for a Return Authorization number. We will then instruct you on how/where to return the item. Any item returned without an authorization will be refused.
● Please inspect all incoming items at time of delivery.
● Note the damage on the Carrier Receipt, if possible.
● Please take several pictures from different angles, as well as pictures of the packaging exactly as you received it, as this is very important to the Damage Claim.
● You must notify us within 2 days of receipt of any/all damage claims.
If you receive a broken/damaged item, this damage was caused during shipment, as we thoroughly inspect all merchandise before it is shipped to you. Therefore we will open a Damage Claim through our shipper; with your cooperation, this must be approved for any reimbursement, repair or replacement of product.
Once the damaged item has been inspected and the damage claim approved you will be either credited the amount paid or the item will be repaired or replaced.
